How to install Viper Racing

How to install the game
-----------------------
1. Go to viper-racing.com/downloads.htm and click on "GAME"

2. The game will now download. Once it is downloaded, double-click on the file ViperRacing.exe

3. Click on "Next" three times. If you get the pront "The destination directory doesn't exist", click on "Yes".

4. Click on "Start" to start the installation, then "Exit" to finish.

5. If no shortcut was created on the desktop, open Explorer and open the folder c:\Sierra\Viper Racing\ (you will find it by clicking on "My Computer", then on "Local Disc C:" and then "Sierra" and "Viper Racing".


How to install the car pack

1. Go to viper-racing.com/downloads.htm and click on "CARS"

2. The car pack will now download. Once it is downloaded, right-click on the cars.zip file and click on "Cut".

3. Open Explorer and open the folder c:\Sierra\Viper Racing\Data\ (you will find it by clicking on "My Computer", then on "Local Disc C:" and then "Sierra", "Viper Racing" and "Data".

4. Right-click on an empty area in the folder and click on "Paste".

5. Right-click on the cars.zip file and click on "Extract here"

Is there an advantage to downloading from here over using the disk and patches? Found the game cleaning out stuff from my parents, just got up and running and downloaded 1.2.4 patch.

Easiest is to download the full (already patched) version of the game from viper-racing.com. I don't think the seperate patch will work on the newest Windows versions.
